AZTECS RUNNING BACK DUO SIGNED TO NFL INTERNATIONAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
Bristol running backs David Egbosimba and Mike Adams impressive performances for the 4-4 Aztecs during the 2008 BAFL Premier season have seen them rewarded with places on the NFL international player development squad. Adams and Egbosimba provided a punchy 1-2 running game for the Aztecs during a season which saw them qualify for the BAFL Premier play offs once again, after defeating East Kilbride on the final day of the season, only losing to eventual Britbowl Winners Coventry Jets 31-28 in an enthralling semi final clash.
Further good news for head coach Mark Hopkins was the selection of seven players, Offensive Linemen Charlie Wilson, Pete Jones, Steve Hopkins and Rob Hardy, Tight End Stuart Toogood, Defensive Lineman Sean Hopkins and Linebacker Steve Bennett to the 2008 GB Lions squad.
